Mary Anne was born in Kingston, Ontario to Phillip (Al) and Catherine Rivers. Mary Anne's father was in the military so they she traveled and went to many different schools making lots of friends along the way. Mary Anne then married and had 4 children where she spent part of her life in Moose Jaw, Sk working mostly retail management making many friends whom she cherished dearly.
After Mary Anne's husband (Rod) passed, Mary Anne started a new journey in Hodgeville and married Rick Smith and adopted another daughter into her heart Georgia Drummond.
Mary Anne loved her family more than anything and enjoyed spending time with her many friends and family. Aside from her family and friends she enjoyed gardening, crafting, visiting with friends and feeding the local birds.
Mary Anne was working at Hodgeville Coop and then transfered to the Herbert Coop where she worked until she was diagnosed with Cancer again in 2021.
Mary Anne is predeceased by her first husband (Rod Cordick), her daughter (Jessica Rae Rivers), her second mom (Linda Rivers), as well as many other loving family.
Mary Anne is lovingly remembered and missed by her parents Phillip (Al) Rivers, Catherine Rivers, Claude and Carmen Smith, her husband Rick Smith, her children Therisa (Darcy Dastou), Cristina, Levi and Georgia, by her grandchildren Jared, Dylan, Adeena, Zach, Leland, Zoe, Aaron and Reid, her siblings Al Chow (Cara), Cynthia Campbell (Dennis), Jason Chow (Mona), Phillip Rivers (Janis Thompson), Cory Chow (Nadine), Garth Rivers (Michelle), Rhonda Best (Bob), Darla (Shane), Angela as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Although there is a big hole in our hearts and her presence is going to be missed greatly we are at peace knowing she is not in pain anymore.
